Portland Arboriculture & co

An arborist consulting firm based out of Portland, Ore

I focus on the preservation of trees in our urban areas through science-based management and experience-based recommendations. Preserving large trees and advocating to retain space for future trees is my priority, but I also know how to get a project done. Trees and new buildings are not mutually exclusive.

I provide consultation on most things tree-related including tree inventories and management plans for any situation including construction/development projects. I provide maintenance recommendations, preservation plans, planting plans, and risk assessments.

Trainings, Workshops, and Talks

I am an educator more than anything and I’d love to partner with you or your organization. I am available for technical trainings and workshops on a wide range of subjects including tree identification, tree biology, pruning, risk assessment, and more. Almost any topic I’ve covered on Completely Arbortrary is fair game.

I am thrilled to provide educational talks to any audience, so please reach out if you want to collaborate.

Check out the What I Do page to get an idea of my work and style, or check out the Goings-On page to see what I’ll be up to next.
