Common Street Tree Walk

Street trees are some of the hardest working trees in our city. They provide a startling array of benefits and services and play an outsized role in promoting climate and social justice. This course will explore trees at Hoyt that are commonly found on Portland streets and others that can be planted showing off their unique beauty and characteristics that make them good choices for our roads. Led by arborist Casey Clapp of the podcast Completely Arbortrary, get ready for plentiful information on why these trees are the most important to help our communities combat climate change.

Class size is limited and pre-registration is required.
